How did this flame-circling moth come to be? Well, I was thrust into the freelance design universe during a global pandemic. With a little help from my community, I made bold moves doing what I’ve always wanted to do: start my own design business. Thus, Candlefly Studio was born; a testament to how something good can fly right out of the flame.

I am a one-woman shop from St. Louis, MO, who relocated to spicy Miami in 2023. My foundational years at The University of Kansas taught me how to be a deeper critical thinker and a design warrior, and I’ve been flexing those muscles ever since. I’m also passionate about photography, food, globe-trotting, my ever-growing playlist of life, and leaving this world better than I found it.
